Walden Beauty was born out of necessity. Clean, luxurious, and thoughtful formulations that also blend clinical performance and efficacy. Each product is a multitasking ritual crafted especially for complex, sensitive, and breakout-prone skin; yet gentle and exquisitely effective for all.

Walden Beauty formulations are preserved in beautiful, recyclable Miron Glass jars made in the Netherlands. Protected by nature's most sophisticated filter, Miron Glass blocks harmful light while allowing beneficial UV and infrared rays to preserve potency, prolong actives, and extend freshness without harsh preservatives or chemicals.
Where it all began
Founder Erin-Marie’s own journey with her skin wasn’t easy. Her oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin launched a quest for products that performed. A visit to a local dermatology and medical aesthetics clinic changed everything; introducing her to medical-grade skincare and igniting a "formula fascination" that would become her passion.
Erin became a certified medical aesthetics provider at that very clinic; performing laser treatments, peels, and personalized consultations under one of Canada's most respected, leading dermatologists and educators. While she found transformative results from certain medical-grade products, her sensitive and acne-prone skin was easily upset by additives like parabens, alcohol, and synthetic fragrance. She often found the same frustration from patients seeking a solution. Erin’s mindfulness and intention deepened during motherhood, when seeking non-toxic skincare she discovered that many "clean" products were highly comedogenic and didn't actually promote clear skin.
After years of research, trial, and intention, Erin-Marie discovered the balance her skin had always been searching for: resilient botanicals and actives that promote graceful aging and radiant clarity, but free from the recurring culprits that aggravated her skin.
Walden Beauty is born out of this decade-long dream: a modern-heritage skincare brand that understands complex skin with luxurious and clean formulations. For Erin-Marie (who is based in Saanichton, Vancouver Island, where nature is woven into the everyday), Walden Beauty is more than a brand.
